Write for us
We welcome pitches that make a particular part of tennis easier to see: a rule, a tactical pattern, a stroke detail, a piece of equipment or a match-reading question. Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option.
What makes a strong pitch
Name the question your piece will answer, the reader it is for and the central idea you would explain. A useful pitch has a clear boundary: one rule, comparison, pattern or concept rather than a broad tour of tennis. Tell us what makes the subject worth understanding and how you would explain it without assuming specialist knowledge.
Good subjects and tone
We are interested in evergreen explanations, careful comparisons, useful background and close readings of how a point works. Keep claims proportionate, separate fact from opinion and explain technical language as it appears. We are not looking for unsupported performance promises, invented match details or advice that requires a reader to rely on a professional judgement.
Before sending
Please include a working title, a short summary, the proposed angle and a note about relevant experience or sources you plan to use. A pitch is a proposal, not a commission. Do not send a complete article unless requested; use the Contact page form to submit your idea.
